Kol Emeth's Silicon Valley Beit Midrash is currently on hiatus. Please visit the Kol Emeth website to learn more about our online events and classes.
The most recent in-person session for SVBM took place during Winter Quarter of 2019. We look forward to reconvening when it is safe to do so; you can review an example of our format and offerings below.

– Past Winter Quarter Events –
Welcome to Winter Quarter! Study sessions start at 7pm on Tuesday nights, followed by a social hour with drinks and a light nosh at 8:15pm. Enrollment for our nine-session fall quarter is $54 for non-members, and free for members of Congregation Kol Emeth.
Our learning takes place in small, seminar-style groups of approximately 15 students per class, in order to foster thoughtful discussion and engaged participation.
For Winter Quarter, choose from one of 3 study session tracks:
- Anger and Forgiveness in the Talmud: Rabbis Behaving Badly with Rabbi David Booth
- Voice at the Edge of Language: Poetry and the Spiritual Experience with Jake Marmer
- Adult Hebrew Reading with Jeff Schwarz
